An introverted man in Hawaii who has lost his wife must find a way to go through the grieving process in spite of the efforts of his extroverted friend who wants to cheer him up. As they relate to each other they find they begin to personally grow through their relationship. The introvert learning he must get on with life. The extrovert realizing his happy exterior masks a growing fear of getting old for which he too will learn to accept.
